Stem Cell Research

Check out StemCellResearch.org. They have a score card that shows how many diseases and injuries that have been successfully treated with adult stem cells (found in bone marrow) and those that have been successfully treated with embryonic stem cells (those taken from murdered babies). The score is 72-0.

So why aren’t more people pushing for adult stem cell research?

I heard on the news today that some researchers in England grew a tiny liver from stem cell research. They used the blood from a newborn’s umbilical cord… why in the world can’t researchers here accomplish their stem cell research the same way? It sure doesn’t seem that complicated. If what can be done with the tissue from an unborn child can also be done with newborn’s umbilical cord blood, it sure seems odd we wouldn’t do it.
