Luke 18:41-43 (KJV) Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

Notice the blind man immediately received his sight when Jesus healed him. Modern medicine also has the ability to restore sight to blind in some cases. However, the difference between the healing by the creator Jesus and the healing by modern medicine is that the blind immediately receive sight when Jesus heals. When modern medicine heals, the person still can not make sense of what he or she sees. The brain still has to learn to interpret the images the healed eyes are seeing. Sometimes, this “brain-training” takes weeks or months. When Jesus healed the blind, he not only healed the eyes, but he also healed the brain so the brain could immediately understand the images.
