Faithfulness

If he was alive today, one name you won’t find as the headliner on any great evangelistic crusade is Noah. Even though he was a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5) and he preached for 120 years (Genesis 6:3), yet only 8 souls were saved by entering into the ark (Genesis 7:7). Today, that would not be accepted. Churches would stop supporting missionaries who had so few converts. Some preachers would quit. Today, no one cares about faithfulness.

Thank God for faithful Noah. The Bible doesn’t say, but he may have been discouraged once or twice. Yet he remained faithful to the task God had given him. We need more to be faithful. I pray to God that he would help me to remain faithful. God has given you a task. Are you faithful?

Proverbs 20:6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

God is looking for a faithful man. Men are looking for a faithful man. Can they find one?
