The lowly ant

Proverbs 6:6-9 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: 7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, 8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. 9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

When God tells us to look at and consider something, we would do well to heed his words. Have you ever noticed the only ant you will find not doing something is a dead ant? Every ant is always busy working. Ants have initiative – they won’t be found lying around doing nothing.

How long wilt thou sleep? Go to the ant and be wise.
