1 Kings 6:18 (KJV) And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
When building the house of God, God uses the saved as the stones. But when he saves us and adds us to his building, he doesn’t leave the rough, stony exterior.
Ezekiel 11:19 (KJV) And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
We are robed in his righteousness. The stone was covered in cedar. Look at the properties of cedar: resistant to rot & decay, resistant to shrinking & warping, sweet-smelling. He makes us into a sweet-smelling savor.
Philippians 4:18 (KJV) But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
