Holiness

This morning, our pastor preached on holiness and mentioned it is sorely lacking in churches today. I agree completely. As he was preaching, I had a few thoughts about holiness:

  • We are called with a holy calling (2 Timothy 1:9)
  • We are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19)
  • We are part of a holy priesthood (1 Peter 2:5)
  • We read the holy scriptures (2 Timothy 3:15)
  • God calls us to be holy (1 Peter 1:16)
